Jason Rainwater: I'm shy by nature, so in person I'm often very quiet and reserved, unless I'm in a setting where I have to teach. I'm more likely to observe and listen rather than make myself noticed. I have a very peaceful nature, and I try my best to be kind to all. My joy in life is training in the martial arts. My formal study and training is in Yoshukai Karate, but I'm always informally and openly exploring other arts. I have a deep interest in Eastern philosophy and Asian cultures. I prefer peaceful and quiet evenings over too much excitement, but I do like adventure from time to time. I don't get bored easily, and very much enjoy the simple things in life. There is always something enjoyable to do when you have an understanding and appreciation for nature and the simplest joys life has to offer. For those who are curious, my ethnic background is half Asian (of Korean decent) and half Caucasian. On a more universal description, I am simply a student of The Way, continually seeking to better understand the oneness of the world around me in my ongoing journey of self discovery and honest self expression.
